Automotive

Valve Center have repeatedly bid for and won supply orders for fire safe and anti static stainless steel ball valves used by Bentley Motors. Other companies we have supplied from within this industry include Toyota, Vauxhall and Rolls Royce.

Chemical

Valve Center supply many blue chip chemical manufacturers with a large variety of valves, examples include valves and spares supply to Croda Chemicals since 2004 and bellow sealed globe valves prepared for chlorine duty supplied to Huntsman Chemicals.

Fire Fighting

Valve Center have supplied valves, sprinklers and hydrants to various building companies and have repeatedly supplied products such as quick release fire valves to several of Her Majesties Prisons throughout the country.

Gas

Valve Center successfully completed a project for National Grid to replace forty atex compliant, manual and actuated butterfly valves on top of LNG storage tanks suitable for use within explosive environments.

Marine

Valve Center currently supply valves into the marine industry and our valves are even used on the QE2. We recently supplied a 1200mm butterfly valve for use on board a ship which we had ABS certified and supplied successfully and on time. We also supply many other valves and can offer certification inline with the requirements of bodies such as Lloyds, DNV, Bureau Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, TRB, TUV, RINA plus several others.

Oil

Valve Center currently supply to many off shore oil producers and examples of our supply vary from valves as simple as standard cast iron butterfly valves through to a recent order to supply a 250mm modulating high pressure control type ball valves with duplex trim. The valve had to be atex compliant, comply with strict specifications and also customer witness tested.

Pharmaceutical

Valve Center recently supplied 22 hygienic pneumatically operated valves to Roche products in Italy. The valves were delivered ahead of schedule and feedback from the customer was excellent.

Power Generation

Valve Center hold a contract to supply like for like standard replacement valves for Scottish and Southern Energy and in addition, recently replaced several butterfly valves up to 700mm for a critical plant shutdown within the tight timescale.

Road Tankers

Valve Center are able to supply many standard and specialised valves for use on road tankers and were recently able to solve a problem by re-specifying a valve for the back of a tanker and successfully arranging its installation.

Water

Valve Center recently supplied 700mm cast iron swing check valves to replace existing damaged valves for United Utilities, matching the now obsolete face to face and removing the need for our customer to modify their pipework.
